Each month Jim’s chooses a “Shop with Loyalty and Shop Locally” charity of the month. During the month a portion of our over the counter sales will go to the charity as well as all donations made from our used book cart. Jim’s is always happy to accept used book donations to keep the program going.

Our charity of the month for April is The Clallam County YMCA.

Power of Community Campaign 2015

We are thrilled to announce we have kicked off the YMCA's 2015  “Power of Community” Campaign and we invite you to support the effort.

Together we can do so much more.

The YMCA's goal is to raise the funds necessary to ensure that no one is turned away because of an inability to pay.  Last year the Y provided $141,678 in scholarship dollars for individuals and families who could not afford the full cost of a Y membership or program fee.

Additionally campaign funds support youth programs like After the Bell, healthy lifestyle programs like Exercise and Thrive for cancer survivors, and help sustain the 7th grade Initiative which provides a free membership for every 7th grader in the community.

Jim's Pharmacy is currently having a "Penny War" to help raise funds for the Y. Each department is collecting pennies and the competition is fierce. After two weeks we raised over $265. We'll be sure to updated the amount each Friday. So gather your pennies and bring them in to Jim's Pharmacy for this great cause.

Currently, the Home Health Department is leading, followed by Customer Service and the Pharmacy Department.
