Each month Jim’s chooses a “Shop with Loyalty and Shop Locally” charity of the month. During the month a portion of our over the counter sales will go to the charity as well as all donations made from our used book cart. Jim’s is always happy to accept used book donations to keep the program going.

Our charity of the month for March is The Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County.

The mission of the Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is to provide free around-the- clock registered nursing availability to terminally ill patients, while supporting them and their families emotionally, physically and spiritually with a team of trained caregivers and volunteers.

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHOCC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, whose service area stretches from Diamond Point to Joyce. Our organization provides support and care for terminally ill persons, enabling them to live out their final days as fully and comfortably as possible. Since its inception in 1978, all services have been provided free of charge to patients and their families; VHOCC does not bill any government agency for its services.

New activities are planned and now you can find VHOCC on Facebook.
